Life Skills

Life skills for an ex-offender is vital to success of transitioning back to their families, their church and their community. Someone once said, “Life skills is something that is needed to be practiced to be learned.” Our life skills delivery is based on active participation and hands on learning as opposed to lectures. GOYF leverages innovative teaching techniques, such as guest speakers, group work and discussions, storytelling, debates, arts and music, and community service projects to deliver our core services.
